I actually can't believe how long it has been since I last did a blog post! I'm really sorry about that - life went a little crazy after February last year and unfortunately my sewing machine had to take a back seat. I've not given up learning to sew though, and seeing all the amazing creations my mum has made this Christmas, has made me more determined to keep at it!

Whilst I was at home I really wanted to make something with my Mum/just watch and learn from her. We decided on making a new laptop cover, which was a little tricky at times!

The project only requires one/two different types of material and some wadding! Below is our creation and I'm super happy with it!

We were thinking of adding a button to the front but I decided that it would probably end up coming off at some point. The part of sewing I really love, is the bit where you get to turn the material the right way round and reveal the creation! We were super nervous with this one, as sewing all the pieces together got a little tricky and we didn't think it was going to work but thankfully it all worked out really well.
